If your profile corresponds to these criteria, come to make an
interesting experience in a foreign country.
The requirements are follow:
- nationality: all kinds of nationality
- sex: the formula is not reserved to the girls.
- age: it is necessary to be at least 18 years and 30 years old
- studies: two conditions are posed: - to justify of a preliminary
knowledge of language and to be registered at the course of language
for foreigner.
- duration: the duration of engagement should not be lower than
three months, nor higher than one year. Perhaps prolonged 6 months.
DUTIES:
The Au-Pair should be given full information about the family
and her duties before she leaves her country to avoid any confusion.
She is expected to help with the housework and the care of the
children. Some training may be necessary initially.
Au-Pairs usually work 25 to 40 (depending on the country)
hours per week (but some may agree to do more for extra pocket
money these are au pair +). Also you can expect 1 or 2 evenings
baby-sitting a week providing it does not clash with any language
classes. Baby sitting during the day is regarded as working time
so any additional hours must be paid by agreement between those
parties concerned.
The au pair should be given at least one and preferably two full
days per week, plus free time during the day and some evenings
,to allow her to attend classes and communicate with friends.
It is important that she be encouraged to make friends as soon
as possible because sometimes an Au-Pair can feel lonely in a
foreign country at first.
POCKET MONEY:
This amount is at the discretion of the host family but a minimum
of 2.20 per hour per hour and that includes 2 baby sittings
per week.
In the case of misunderstanding: a two weeks notice (except case
of fault engraves) must be given by the trainee as well as by
the family. During the stay, if anomalies are noted or if the
host family has unjustified requirements, not to let the situation
degrade itself. You should put immediately in contact with the
agency.
